Preparations: Duofilm (salicylic acid 16.7% + lactic acid 16.7%) - plantar & mosaic warts; Bazuza: extra strength gel (salicylic acid 26%) - warts & verrucas; Salactol (salicylic acid 16.7% + lactic acid 16.7%) - warts/plantar warts/verrucas; Scholl Verruca removal system 40% medicated plasters: common warts on feet and hands; Verrugon (salicylic acid 50%) - plantar warts only

Contra-indications: face, intertriginous / anogenital regions, moles / birthmarks, warts with hairs, red edges, unusual colour, open wounds / areas of poor healing

Application: Once a day, nocte. Before application, debride surface and/or soak in warm water for 5-10 mins. For subsequent applications, peel off any film from previous application and debride and soak as above

Adverse effects: Chemical burns or skin irritation
