Plantar warts: found beneath pressure points on the feet. 2 types (1) Sharply defined rounded lesions with a rough keratotic surface - often painful (2) Mosaic warts resulting from a plaque of closely grouped warts - generally not painful.
Can be confused with corns and callosities
Management: no treatment: up to 90% of warts in young children will resolve in 2 years
Pairing reduces discomfort: soak in warm water for 5-10 minutes. Pair away dead skin using disposable emery board / nail file. Repeat once/twice per week
